Welcome to two separate Americas, where every political issue is viewed through totally distinct lenses. A perfect example is how the two sides see law and order.

When Joe Biden ousted Donald Trump in 2020, Dems told us all was returning to normal. In my opinion, part of that normal could be expressed in the following: empathy toward criminals; apathy toward crime victims.

The Biden years consisted of the highest numbers of illegal migrants entering the country in a four-year administration ever, by far. The drugs and violent crime that predictably followed didn’t deter Democrats one bit. Police were vilified, with some targeted for assassination. Jewish students and conservative speakers were assaulted on college campuses, while administrators did essentially nothing. Leftist judges and DAs targeted Trump as well as those who stood up to criminals (see Daniel Penny). Meanwhile, these leftists refused to keep real, dangerous predators locked up. Guess what? More victims, more tragedies.

Has anything within the Democratic Party changed since Trump regained office? Well, I think they are more radical and accepting of lawlessness and violence in the advancement of progressive political power. The three assassination attempts on Trump and the assassination of Charlie Kirk evince the fiery hatred ignited by Democratic politicians and their rhetoric. If Democrats return to power, I believe we can expect a continued targeting of their perceived political enemies, while real criminals will continue to receive de facto clemency for their crimes.

So if you prefer crime and disorder to law and order, you should vote Democrat.
