A low-flying military plane with a rumbling engine will make its way through multiple Pittsburgh and suburban neighborhoods, and beyond, as part of Monday’s Memorial Day remembrances.

The 911th Airlift Wing from the Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station will conduct flyovers with a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft beginning at 10:20 a.m. in Bethel Park.

The flyovers are meant to honor fallen military members and deceased veterans.

They are conducted as part of scheduled training.

The course will continue until about 12:45 p.m. through:

• Richland

• South Hills

• Brighton Heights

• Sharpsburg

• Zelienople

• Trafford

• Oakmont

• Imperial

• Brackenridge

• Union Cemetery, Jefferson County, Ohio
