Brad Williams
Comedian Brad Williams returns to the ‘Burgh for another night of laughs on his “Tall Tales Tour.” The comedian has decades of experience as a stand-up and will get the audience laughing every time.
Williams has appeared on shows including “The Tonight Show” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” He recently appeared in the film “Spinal Tap II.” Williams has released six comedy albums and four comedy specials.

Pgh Book Fest
Readers won’t want to miss this day-long, free festival of books at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s main branch in Oakland. The event is for all ages and types of readers, so don’t miss out.
The festival will include author talks, poetry readings, workshops, local booksellers, vendors, and a chance to mingle with the book community in the city. Authors at this year’s festival will include Catherine Newman, Daniel Kraus, John Scalzi, Meg Medina, Steven Rowley and many more.

Kites for Kids
Catch a breeze on the North Shore this weekend with Kites for Kids at the Kamin Science Center. The center is pairing up with KidsVoice, a children’s advocacy group, for this event.
The day will allow visiting kids to see kite-related demonstrations, and there will be games, activities and crafts, all related to one of the best high-flying hobbies there is. Not to mention, the Science Center will be adorned with lovely kite designs from KidsVoice clients.

‘Grease’ at the Frick
Oh, those summer nights! The Frick will be hosting the musical movie classic “Grease” on its Great Lawn Friday night, with some extra live interaction as a bonus.
In addition to watching the film, viewers will also see the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale doing live harmonies to classic songs, including “Hopelessly Devoted to You” and “Look At Me, I’m Sandra Dee.”

The Last Podcast on the Left
True crime podcasts have seen an explosion in popularity in the past few years, and few are as well-loved as The Last Podcast on the Left. This weekend, you will get to see them record live and in person.
The “JK Ultra Tour” will feature the current lineup of Marcus Parks, Henry Zebrowski and Ed Larson. The podcast historically covers topics including cults, serial killers and other horrifying stories.
