The 2026 WPIAL baseball and softball playoffs are history with one baseball and three softball teams repeating as champions.
Indiana baseball joined Hempfield, Shaler and Union in the winner’s circle for a second straight season.
New District 7 champions crowned were Butler, Upper St. Clair, Ellwood City, Neshannock and Eden Christian Academy baseball, along with Elizabeth Forward, South Park and Bentworth softball.
Now for 19 district baseball teams and 18 WPIAL softball schools, the battle for a state championship begins on Monday.
