With the district playoffs in the books, welcome to the WPIAL championship edition of the Trib 10 power rankings.
The top six spots are taken up by those newly crowned champions while spots 7-10 are for teams that came away from this week’s action trying to find the silver lining.
On the baseball side, Butler and Indiana claimed gold and remained in the top two spots. Ellwood City, Upper St. Clair and Neshannock were ranked last week, but moved up into the Top 5 following their golden performance.
The only team not ranked a week ago that powered its way to No. 6 is first-time district champion Eden Christian Academy.
In softball, there were zero changes as the top six teams in last week’s Trib 10 power rankings all were victorious in the WPIAL title games at Lilley Field.
