Caroleena Genco of Moon completed her hat trick 1:29 into overtime to send West to a 3-2 victory over South in the PIHL girls hockey semifinals Thursday night.

Genco scored two goals less than four minutes apart in the second period to help West erase a 2-0 deficit. Isabel King and Ava Francus had assists for the West.

Lauren Schuler and Malena Pitassi scored for South.

The championship game, pitting North against West, is set for 7 p.m. Monday at UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry.

North 2, Southwest 1 – Lexi Dimond scored in the first period, Ella Bumbaco scored in the second and Kassidy Newman made 22 saves to lead North to a semifinal victory. Leah Eichhorn of Baldwin scored in the third period to bring Southwest back within a goal.
