The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra will perform a “Classics on the Rocks” concert at West Overton Village in East Huntingdon.

The concert will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in the West Overton Village barn, located at 109 West Overton Road. It will feature classics and current music, including “La Vie En Rose,” “Amazing Grace” and works by Vivaldi, Schubert and Metallica.

Guests can purchase signature cocktails featuring West Overton’s Jasper Stash rye whiskey and a selection of Pennsylvania-made beer and wine from a cash bar.

Tickets can be purchased for $25 in advance at westmorelandsymphony.org. Doors open at 6 p.m. Attendees must be 21 years or older. Those looking to purchase drinks must show a valid ID.

Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra was launched in 1969 by a group of community leaders and musicians, who performed concerts at a local high school. Today, the orchestra performs a regular concert series, Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker” and a free summer concert at St. Clair Park. Its Academy of Music also provides educational programs for people of all ages.
