St. Regis Parish in Trafford will host a free question-and-answer presentation with Catholic apologist Joe Heschmeyer on June 1 in the church social hall, 517 Homewood Drive. Fundraisers

• The Braddock Trail Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution will sponsor a basket bazaar June 6 at Kecksburg Volunteer Fire Hall, 5128 Water St., Mt. Pleasant Township. Doors open at noon and ticket drawings will begin at 1:30 p.m. Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Cost: $15, includes 25 basket raffle tickets, a door prize chance and refreshments. There will be a 50-50 and separate high-end raffle baskets. Must be present to win. Kecksburg Volunteer Firemen’s Auxiliary will sell a limited lunch menu. Proceeds benefit the DAR’s historic renovation project. A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door. • Latrobe American Legion will host a sock hop at 5 p.m. June 5 at the post, 158 American Legion Road. Free admission. A buffet dinner will be available from 5 to 8 p.m. for $10. The group Bearfootin’ will play from 7 to 10 p.m. and there will be drink specials and a 50-50. Wear your best ’50s or ’60s attire.
