With so much in the news regarding immigration, there is usually not a distinction made between legal and illegal immigration (undocumented immigration). I believe the news media has done this on purpose.

In the 1900s, when many immigrants came to America, they came legally. Then even legal immigration was very strict. Health status was checked and a sponsor’s monetary contributions were necessary. As the law states, a legal immigrant cannot be a burden on society (the taxpayer).

The immigrant had to pay for any healthcare needs and educational costs for children. Today illegal (undocumented) immigrants are 60% to 80% likely to be on some type of government assistance. They are crushing the taxpayer, school systems and our healthcare system. Now the taxpayer has to pick up the tab for many of the undocumented. Yes, many illegal immigrants may be hard workers, but many are not.

Both legal and illegal immigration must be controlled. No country can survive if they don’t control immigration. There have been thousands of murderers, child rapists and other criminals allowed into this country. Where are the voices for the victims and “angel parents”? This is why vetting all immigrants is essential.

There are many big players in the undocumented business (immigration warfare), including the Chinese Communist government, the Mexican government and American Marxists. Remember, there is a difference between coming into America legally and illegally. There’s a proper way to become an American. And it’s the law.
