RHP Jose Urquidy (2-3, 4.78) allowed two hits and one walk with six strikeouts in seven shutout innings to earn the victory. RHP Beau Burrows (1.99) allowed one run on two hits with a strikeout in one inning. RHP Isaac Mattson (0.00) had a walk and three strikeouts to close out the final inning. C Rafael Flores Jr. (.212) was 3 for 4 with two RBIs. 3B Enmanuel Valdez (.266) was 2 for 3 with a double. CF Ronny Simon (.307), SS Davis Wendzel (.253), 1B Nick Cimillo (.215) and DH Shawn Ross (.146) also knocked in runs.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 21-30) was shut out 9-0 by Hartford (Rockies). 1B Omar Alfonzo (.218) had two singles, his fifth multi-hit game of the season. C Derek Berg (.276) and RF Titus Dumitru (.215) extended their season-long on-base streaks to 14 games. Berg had a single and Dumitru walked. 3B Javier Rivas (.212) doubled and walked. 2B Duce Gourson (.241) doubled. RHP Khristian Curtis (4.74) started and threw 3 2/3 scoreless innings with one hit, two walks and four strikeouts in a no-decision. RHP Alessandro Ercolani (3-1, 6.57) took the loss after allowing three runs on two hits with three strikeouts.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 33-18) belted five home runs and cruised to an 8-3 win over Hub City (Rangers). LF Brian Sanchez (.233) was 3 for 4 with a double and two homers and four RBIs. SS Yordany De Los Santos (.286), 1B Jared Jones (.322) and 2B Carlos Caro (.267) all hit solo homers. Jones was 2 for 3 with three runs scored. RHP Kyle Robinson (9.39) started and allowed three runs on three hits with a walk and three strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings. RHP Treyson Peters (4-0, 4.87) earned the win in relief after he gave up two hits with a walk and strikeout in 3 2/3 innings.
