Shady Side Academy’s Country Day School production of “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” invited the audience to “Be Our Guest” with vibrant performances on May 27-28.
A total of 224 students participated in the all-school production directed by Country Day School music/theater teacher Chloe Torrence.
The spring musical is an annual tradition.
Fifth graders led the cast in lead roles and junior pre-kindergarten students delighted audiences with their featured appearances, including as lambs.
“The musical brought together students of all ages for a memorable celebration of creativity and confidence,” said Diana Toole, Shady Side Academy’s chief marketing officer.
