At President Trump’s request, Republicans added $1 billion to the budget for the construction of his ballroom. However, the Senate parliamentarian, Elizabeth MacDonough, said the provision did not meet the reconciliation requirements. Trump then demanded that she be fired. So, Trump broke his promise to build the ballroom with private donations, and he wants to eliminate the person who is stopping his illegal use of taxpayer funds. This is pure Trump: lies and more lies, and off with the head of anyone who disagrees with him.

Next, Trump sued the IRS for $10 billion, alleging it failed to prevent an IRS contractor from disclosing his tax returns. Trump then dropped the IRS lawsuit in exchange for the DOJ’s $1.8 billion “weaponization fund,” again courtesy of the American taxpayer. These slush funds would be doled out by a commission of Trump loyalists to Trump’s allies, including the Jan. 6 insurrectionists.

Trump appears to have lost touch with reality. He seems to believe in his own fantasies. I urge you to call your federal lawmakers. They must investigate Trump’s shakedown of the American taxpayer. His recent impulsive, erratic and corrupt actions call into question his fitness for office.
