Hearing against suspended Woodland Hills Superintendent continues
The Woodland Hills School Board will have another hearing at 6 p.m. Wednesday against its Superintendent Joe Maluchnik.
Maluchnik was hired in Jan. 2025 and was placed on unpaid leave in March. The district alleges Maluchnik engaged in gender-based discrimination and harassment.
The hearing started May 21. There, two female administrators testified against Maluchnik, alleging he only promoted male administrators, had arguments with female staff members that made them uncomfortable and excluded them from discussions they were normally involved in.
Maluchnik’s attorney, Manning O’Connor, maintained that Maluchnik was hired to address financial issues, improve academics and establish accountability.
The hearing will take place at the high school auditorium, 2550 Greensburg Pike, Churchill.
