Police find man dead in Pittsburgh garage

On Sunday evening, Pittsburgh police found a man dead in a garage in Pittsburgh’s Bloomfield neighborhood.

Police were called around 7 p.m. to the 5000 block of Comrie Way for reports of a person found dead. Officers found a man with “apparent traumatic injuries” at the scene, public safety officials said.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner on Monday identified the man as Harold Bauer, 68, of Bloomfield.

Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating the death, which officials labeled as suspicious.


Police find missing 86-year-old woman

Pittsburgh police said a missing woman was found safe.

Officials had been seeking the public’s help in locating the 86-year-old who had last been seen Sunday in the 7600 block of Hamilton Avenue.
