Konan joins 6-6 forward Yoav Berman (Queens), 6-10 center Ege Demir (Oregon), and a pair of guards in 6-6 Izaiah Pasha (Virginia Tech) and 6-3 Josh Smith (West Georgia) as portal transfers next season for Duquesne.
Before coming to the United States, Konan competed in the Turkish Super League and the EuroCup while playing for Turkish powerhouse Beşiktaş.
He also has represented his homeland in several major FIBA events, including the U-19 World Cup and has helped lead Turkey to a silver medal at the 2022 U-18 European Championship and a bronze at the 2023 U-19 World Cup.
