The state police are seeking information about an employee of a Fayette County campground who went missing during his shift.
State police said staff at the Yogi Bear Campground in Springfield Township reported employee Jared M. Callahan, 43, of Ohiopyle missing Tuesday evening, after his maintenance cart was found unattended at the far end of the campground. Staff told police they searched the immediate area but could not locate him.
An extensive search operation involving multiple fire companies was initiated using volunteers, all-terrain vehicles, bloodhounds, a state police helicopter and drones, but Callahan could not be located.
He is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall and 170 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
