Pig roast to aid Knead Community Café
Knead Community Café will sponsor a pig roast fundraiser from 3 to 6 p.m. June 20 at the cafe, 1011 Barnes St., New Kensington.
The menu will include pulled pork sandwiches, cowboy beans, macaroni & cheese and potato salad. BYOB.
Tickets cost $30 and are available online only at kneadcommunitycafe.org/events/pig-roast. This fundraiser helps support Knead Community Café’s mission of providing meals to all, regardless of means.
Cat, dog food needed at A-K Hope Center
The Alle-Kiski Area HOPE Center is asking for donations of small- and medium-sized bags of dry dog and cat food and cat litter to support the pets of survivors in its programs.
