It’s a great weekend to check out the Three Rivers Arts Festival in Downtown Pittsburgh, now in its second week. But if you’re looking for a little variety in your time off, here are some more events to attend over the next few days.

Allentown Night Market

Even in this warm weather, you can get a little spooky with the Spring Edition of the Allentown Night Market. This fun vendor extravaganza concentrates on the spooky, goth and fantastical sides of things.

The market will feature dozens of vendors selling everything from art to curiosities to clothing to candles, as well as a Food Truck Alley featuring Kona Ice, Steel City Chimneys and more. There will also be DJ sets, live music and even circus performers.

The Night Market is held from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood. Parking is limited in the area, but the Night Market offers a discount credit for those who choose to Uber to the event. To learn more, visit allentownnightmarket.com.

Kamin Science Center 21 Night: Queer as Folklore

The adults get the run of the Kamin Science Center this Friday night for its themed 21 Night, this one themed for Pride Month.

Featured will be a high fantasy drag show, local LGBTQIA organizations and businesses, shows at the Buhl Planetarium, performances from the Pittsburgh Pride Choir, lessons on ancient and modern folklore (especially queer-coded stories and figures) and themed cocktails.

Valid photo ID is required to get in. The event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Kamin Science Center on the North Shore. Tickets are $25 for nonmembers and $20 for members in advance online. To get tickets, visit kaminsciencecenter.org.

Rita Wilson in concert

You may know her as an actor, or as the spouse of Tom Hanks, but Rita Wilson is also a talented musical performer. She’ll be bringing her Sound of a Woman Tour to City Winery Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Blending singer-songwriter, Americana and pop, Wilson has released a handful of albums and done duets with legends including Willie Nelson and Jackson Browne. Her new album, “Sound of a Woman,” will feature heavily on this tour.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. this Sunday at City Winery Pittsburgh in the Strip District. To learn more about the artist or get tickets, visit citywinery.com.

Beer Collectibles Show

If you’re a fan of beer and all things beer-related, this collectibles show is for you. Olde Frothingslosh is holding its annual Summer Blast at Penn Brewery on Sunday.

Exhibitors and merchants will set up tables and attendees can browse beer bottles, caps, signs, cans, trays and any other beer-related memorabilia. From classic to current, find your favorite brands and items here, and then go and have lunch at Penn Brewery. The show will also include raffles.

The show is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday in the parking garage at Penn Brewery on the North Side. Entry is $5 for non-members and free for members. To learn more, visit oldefroth.com.

Pride at Bakery Square

Pittsburgh Pride may have taken place last weekend, but festivities can still continue throughout the month. Bakery Square will hold its Pride celebration on Friday, hosted by performer Dixie Surewood.

Head to Tako Torta for delicious tacos, summertime margaritas and an epic drag show. There will also be glitter body art offered, and enjoy dessert in the form of a cake jar from Evanly Bakes. Plus, it’s all for a good cause; a portion of ticket sales go to the Pittsburgh Equality Center.

The event is 7 p.m. Friday at Tako Torta in Bakery Square. Tickets are $13. Learn more and get tickets at facebook.com/bakerysquare.
