Duquesne continues to add to its men’s basketball roster for next season, landing seldom-used Oregon State forward Stephen Olowoniyi, his agent, Scott Nichols, on Thursday told On3.com’s The Field of 68 Media Network.
The 6-foot-8 Olowoniyi two years ago led the Ohio Valley Conference in field-goal percentage while at Southern Indiana before he transferred to Oregon State.
Olonwoniyi, a product of The Webb School in Bell Buckle, Tenn., averaged 13.9 points and 6.8 rebounds while shooting 59.1% (172 for 291) for Southern Indiana in 2024-25.
He appeared in just eight games off the bench last season at Oregon State.
Duquesne is Olonwoniyi’s fourth school in four years. He began his college career at VMI, averaging 7.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

He is the second player in a week and sixth overall reportedly to commit to Duquesne by way of the NCAA transfer portal. Creighton’s Karem Konan, a 6-9, 235-pound forward, joined the Dukes earlier this week, according to DraftExpress.
Duquesne has yet to officially announce any signings, but other portal commitments reportedly are 6-6 Queens forward Yoav Berman, 6-10 Oregon center Ege Demir, 6-6 Virginia Tech guard Izaiah Pasha and 6-3 West Georgia guard Josh Smith.
