C Derek Berg (.250) went 2 for 4 with a three-run homer, his first. RF Dominic Fletcher (.282) went 1 for 2 with a two-run homer, his third, with a walk and two runs scored. 1B Nick Cimillo (.219) went 2 for 3 with a double, two runs scored, an RBI and a walk. RHP Cam Sanders (3.63) started as an opener for a bullpen game and threw one scoreless inning. RHP Noah Murdock (0.00) threw 1⅓ scoreless innings. RHP Beau Burrows (2-0, 3.04) gave up two runs on two hits in two innings but picked up the win. RHP Justin Meis (2.90), RHP Yunior Marte (4.87) and RHP Derek Diamond (0.00) each threw a scoreless inning to close it out.

RHP Matt Ager (2-1, 2.96) started and gave up three runs on eight hits in six innings. RHP Alessandro Ercolani (8.10) followed with two scoreless innings, striking out five. RHP Landon Tomkins (5.86) gave up a run on one hit in an inning.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 37-23) lost 9-5 to Wilmington (Nationals). C Easton Carmichael (.294) went 1 for 3 with his 10th homer and two walks. LF Jhonny Severino (.262) went 2 for 4 with his sixth stolen base. RHP Carlson Reed (5.44) started and went five innings, allowing one run on five hits with five strikeouts and three walks. RHP Owen Kellington (2-2, 8.44) gave up four runs, three earned, on three hits, including a homer, to take the loss.

In the first game, which was suspended by rain on Wednesday, Bradenton won 3-1. C Joey BArt (.000) on a rehab assignment for an infection, went 0 for 1 with a walk, a strikeout and a run scored. 1B Eddie Rynders (.162) went 1 for 2 with a triple and two RBIs. DH Edgleen Perez (.290) went 2 for 4 with a run scored and RBI. 3B Hyun Seung Lee (.308) went 2 for 4 with a run scored. SS Jack Brannigan (.100) went 0 for 3 with a walk, a stolen base and three strikeouts on a rehab assignment. LHP Reinold Navarro (2.43) started and threw three scoreless innings, allowing two hits and five walks with four strikeouts. RHP Adolfo Ovideo (4-0, 0.81) threw 3⅔ scoreless innings to pick up the win, allowing one hit and one walk with two strikeouts. RHP Brandon Cain (3.68) gave up one run in two innings to earn the save.

In the second game, a 7-1 Bradenton loss, LF Eddie King Jr. (.239) went 2 for 3 with an RBI. RHP Levi Sterling (3-3, 4.61) started and gave up four runs, three earned, on six hits in six innings to take the loss. RHP Gavin Adams (7.79) walked all three batters he faced and all three scored.
