An Oklahoma Borough man died in a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning in Washington Township, according to Murrysville Medic One.
The head-on crash happened around 5:15 a.m. on Route 66 at Mamont Drive, a Westmoreland County 911 dispatcher said. It involved a pickup and a car, according to aerial images of the scene from Murrysville Medic One.
Nicholas Grzybek, no age given, died from blunt-force injuries sustained the crash, according to Westmoreland County Coroner John Ackerman. He said Grzybek was driving north on Route 66 when he crossed the center line and struck a pickup truck heading in the opposite direction.
The pickup’s driver was taken to a hospital for further treatment.
Washington Township police could not immediately be reached for further information Saturday afternoon.
