Annual night race scheduled July 18 in Apollo
Roaring Run Watershed Association will sponsor its annual 5K night race/walk, “Race to the Moon,” at 9 p.m. July 18 at the trail along the Kiski River.
Parking is at 310 Clifford Ave in Apollo. Everyone is bused to the trail and a baggage claim is at the trail start/finish line. Check-in will begin at 5:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded afterward.
Cost is $25, plus a $2.75 fee in advance and $30 on race day; and includes a race day T-shirt for those who register by July 1. Registration deadline is July 16.
