$1 million lottery tickets sold in Carnegie, Cranberry

A GetGo on Chestnut Street in Carnegie and a Sheetz along Ehrman Road in Cranberry recently sold $1 million winning lottery tickets, according to Pennsylvania Lottery.

GetGo will receive a $5,000 bonus and Sheetz will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets.

The scratch-off sold at the GetGo was a “Million Dollar Win it All” ticket, a $50 game that offers top prizes of $1 million. Scratch-offs expire one year from the game’s end-sale date. They are distributed at random, meaning Pennsylvania Lottery does not know where winning tickets will be sold until after the prizes are claimed.

The lottery ticket sold at the Sheetz matched all six winning numbers, earning the purchaser a $1.27 million jackpot prize. Lottery ticket winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated.
