DH Nick Cimillo (.219) and RF Dominic Fletcher (.300) hit solo homers and 1B Enmanuel Valdez (.247) delivered an RBI double. Cimillo’s homer was his seventh. Fletcher’s was his sixth. LF Jhostynxon Garcia (.243) went 2 for 3 with his fifth homer, two runs scored and two RBIs. 3B Keiner Delgado (.243) went 2 for 4 with a walk, two runs scored and his fourth stolen base. CF Ronny Simon (.303) went 1 for 4 with a triple and run scored. SS Davis Wendzel (.247) went 1 for 3 with a double and RBI. RHP Noah Davis (4.81) started and gave up three runs on seven hits in 6⅔ innings. He walked one and struck out four. RHP Yunior Marte (3-1, 5.84) gave up one run on one hit in 1⅓ innings to earn the win. He fanned three. LHP Jaden Woods (9.00) pitched a perfect ninth with two strikeouts to earn his first save.

ALTOONA (Double-A, 31-37) beat Akron (Guardians), 3-1, on a two-run double by D Derek Berg (.291) in the top of the 10th. Berg went 2 for 4 with three RBIs. LHP Brandon Neeck (0.84) started a bullpen game, giving up one unearned run on three hits in two innings. RHP Alessandro Ercolani (8.24) pitched 2⅓ scoreless, RHP Jaycob Deese (9.22) threw 2⅔ no-hit innings and RHP Landon Tomkins (3-2, 6.47) finished it out with three scoreless innings, allowing one hit and striking out seven, to earn the win. DH Duce Gourson (.230) went 0 for 3 with two walks, two stolen bases and two runs scored. 1B Callan Moss (.258) went 1 for 5 and 3B Javier Rivas (.230) went 1 for 4 for the Curve, who were held to four hits.

RHP Kyle Larsen (5.71) worked a scoreless ninth. 1B Tony Blanco Jr. (.237) went 2 for 3 with a double, triple, run scored and his first stolen base. 2B Carlos Caro (.298) went 1 for 3 with his third homer, a walk and two runs scored. CF Dylan Palmer (.474) went 1 for 4 with an RBI. SS Sammy Stafura (.250) went 1 for 1 with two walks, a run scored and an RBI.
