Newly acquired RHP Hunter Stratton (4.05) allowed two walks with two strikeouts in two innings of no-hit relief. RHP Thomas Harrington (6.10) earned his first save after giving up a run on two hits with a strikeout in the ninth. 3B Enmanuel Valdez (.251) was 2 for 5 with a double and two RBIs. SS Davis Wendzel (.248) hit a solo homer. LF Jhostynxon Garcia (.243) went 1 for 3. 2B Keiner Delgado (.256) was 1 for 2 with two walks and a run.

DH Derek Berg (.290) and CF Lonnie White Jr. (.286) were 1 for 4. C Omar Alfonzo (.225) was 1 for 3 with a walk and run scored. RHP Peyton Stumbo (5.14) allowed three runs on four hits with four walks and three strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings. RHP Treyson Peters (0-1, 4.50) took the loss after allowing a run on three hits with a strikeout in two innings of relief.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 43-26) dropped a 10-4 decision against Winston-Salem (White Sox). LF Jhonny Severino (.258) and 2B Carlos Caro (.300) each hit two-run homers. 3B Murf Gray (.320) and RF Brian Sanchez (.225) each singled and scored. RHP Cameron Keshock (2-4, 5.33) lasted just 2/3 of an inning, allowing four runs on four hits with two walks and a strikeout and took the loss.

BRADENTON (Low-A, 33-35) scored five runs in the seventh inning and rolled past Clearwater (Phillies), 8-3. SS Antonio Pimentel (.239) hit a solo homer and scored three runs. DH Brent Iredale (.154) went 2 for 4 with a triple and three RBIs. C Edgleen Perez (.289) was 2 for 3 with three runs scored. 1B Richard Ramirez (.248) doubled in a run and scored once. 3B Hyun Seung Lee (.157) had an RBI. LHP Reinold Navarro (2.01) started and allowed one hit with four strikeouts in two scoreless innings. RHP Dariel Francia (1-0, 4.80) earned the win after a clean 1/3 of an inning of relief.
