The Hoffmann Family of Companies was given formal approval by the NHL Board of Governors on Tuesday to take ownership of the Pittsburgh Penguins from Fenway Sports Group.
Representatives from the Hoffmann family — Geoff (Governor), David and Greg Hoffmann (Alternate Governors) — are meeting with the media Thursday in their introductory press conference in the Lexus Club at PPG Paints Arena.
