Georgiann Stolick Flanigan, 84, of Greensburg, passed away, Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024. She was born Sept. 25, 1939 in Herminie, a daughter of the late George Edward and Helen (Ruszen) Stolick. Georgiann earned her Bachelors degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Master's degree from West Virginia University. Prior to retirement, she worked as a Special Education Teacher at Greensburg Salem School District. She was an active member of PSEA. Georgiann was a member of St. Bruno's Church. She enjoyed winters in Marco Island in Florida and loved lunches and socializing with her friends. Georgiann was a special friend who sent cards to everyone. She was a season ticket holder and an avid Steelers fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Flanigan; sister, Mary Jane Betz and brother-in-law, Jack Betz. Surviving are her brother, Robert G. Stolick of Perryopolis; nephew, Matthew Stolick of Findlay, OH and his children, Van, Simone, Moses, and Solomon; nephew, Daniel Stolick of Wexford and his son, Blade Adam Stolick; niece, Maureen (Jeff) Svetkovich and their children, Sydney Svetkovich and Brandon Van Dyke; niece, Barbara Dawson (Eric) and their children, Matthew, Juliann, and Jenna Dawson; sisters-in-law, Carroll Sisti and Katie Grippo; and dear friends, Mark Snyder, the Arch family, and special thanks to her friend Janey Moff. Family and friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16th, 2024, at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Prayers of transfer will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home followed by Georgiann's Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Bruno Church, 1715 Poplar Street, South Greensburg, PA. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Bruno's Church.
