Plum announces graduation date
Plum Senior High School’s 2024 graduation will be held May 29, the district announced.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the high school stadium, 900 Elicker Road.
There are two rain dates — 7 p.m. on May 30 and 7 p.m. on May 31.
House number signs available
Plum is selling reflective house number signs to help first responders locate addresses easier.
Property owners are required to display address numbers where they can be seen from the street or road fronting the property. First responders often have trouble finding locations because of the lack of address numbers, Councilwoman Vicky Roessler said.
Signs are available in three sizes — 6 inches by 12 inches for $31; 6 by 18 for $32; and 6 by 24 for $35. They can be purchased on the borough’s website, plumboro.com. Residents without access to the website can get help at the borough building, 2000 Mike Thomas Way.
After the signs are ordered and delivered to the borough, fire departments will deliver them to residents and answer questions about where to place them.

Prokopik’s salary was set at $80,000.
The borough will be looking to hire a new building code official, Manager David Soboslay said.
