Live! Casino Pittsburgh continues to provide local non-profit organizations with considerable donations raised by guests during the third quarter in their Giveback Boxes. The donation boxes are located inside the casino where guests can contribute slot tickets, cash or table game chips to support local charities. The third quarter’s Giveback Box funds were divided between two charities: the Alzheimer’s Association – Greater Pennsylvania Chapter and the Mental Health Association of Southwest PA. The casino has Giveback Boxes located at each entrance. Guests also can designate which charity receives their donation when cashing out slot tickets at the casino kiosks. In total, $6,994.03 was raised for the Alzheimer’s Association – Greater Pennsylvania Chapter and $6,267.96 for the Mental Health Association of Southwest PA. Live! Casino’s Charitable Contributions Review Committee has selected The Stoneybrook Foundation and Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity as the two designated charities for the fourth quarter of 2022. The Stoneybrook Foundation was founded by John and Deborah McCain in 2008 in Acme, Pennsylvania. Its mission is to use riding services that incorporate education and therapy to improve the lives of children and adults with a range of disabilities. Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1993 and serves Westmoreland County, south of Route 22, as well as Export, Delmont, Derry and Murrysville. Its mission is to bring people together to build homes and communities as a way to put God’s love into action. The Giveback Box program originated as a "Live! in the Community" effort, and each donation box displays the charities selected for each quarter.
