One person was killed in a crash Wednesday morning along Greensburg Road (Route 366) in Washington Township.

The victim, a man, died when the car he was driving collided with a tractor-trailer near the intersection of Washington Road shortly before 10 a.m., according to Washington Township police Sgt. Vincent Surace. There were no passengers in the car.

Greensburg Road is closed to all traffic in the area of the crash, and vehicles were being diverted onto other roads. The crash scene is not far from the intersection with Route 66.

Surace said no other injuries were reported.

State police are assisting in the investigation, which is ongoing.
