Gladys Lorraine Sarver, 86, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024, at her home, with her loving family by her side. She was born on Sept. 29, 1937, in Mamont, a daughter of the late Clarence Ray Moore and Mary Gladys (Miller) Morrow. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Clarence E. Sarver, Jr.; an infant grandson, Michael Paul Timothy; and her three brothers and a sister. Lorraine is survived by her children, Roy Sarver (Joe), Karen Timothy (Jan), and Debbie Beaken (Bo); grandchildren, Jason Timothy (Heather), Michelle Stowell (Brian), Sierra Mahl (Brian), Brittany Hoffman (Derek), and Justin Timothy (Karly); step-granddaughters, Stephanie and Danielle; 9 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Lorraine was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Allwine Civic Center. She had a passion for helping others, as she spent many years as a caregiver for the elderly. She loved cooking and baking on holidays for her kids and grandchildren. As per Lorraine's wishes, services and burial in the Eastview Union Cemetery will be private.
