Jean Marie Sphon, 91, of Greensburg, passed away peacefully at home on Aug. 15, 2024. She was born on March 24, 1933, in Latrobe, a daughter of the late John and Rosella (Upholster) Weiers. Jean always enjoyed spending time with her family. Some of her favorite pastimes included playing cards and scrabble, cooking, dancing, and going to the casino. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Daun Sphon; and her brothers, John and Don Weiers. She is survived by her children, Charles Sphon Jr. and his wife Julia of Greensburg, Judith Susich and her husband John of Greensburg, and Diana Clouser and her husband Thomas of Manor; her grandchildren, Jennifer Kemerer (Thomas), Justin Susich (Brooke), Eric Sphon, Alaina Sphon, Brooke Edwards, and Carley Edwards; her great-grandchildren, Chyler, Piper, Jackson, Baron, and Kendall; and her brother, Thomas Weiers (Joyce) of Elderton, PA. There is no public visitation. Services were private for the family. A private interment took place in St. Vincent Cemetery.
