Two men were arrested Monday in connection with a drug bust in North Huntingdon.

An undercover police officer set up a drug buy with Larnell D. Jones III, 30, of Rankin, for $3,300 worth of heroin/fentanyl and crack cocaine, according to court papers. Jones met up with the officer and a confidential informant in a parking lot along Route 30 Monday to make the exchange, police said.

Authorities took Jones and Harry E. Randall, 28, of Wilkinsburg, into custody after the drug buy. Police said Randall drove Jones to the location. No charges had been filed against a woman who was in Randall’s vehicle.

Police said they seized nine bricks of heroin/fentanyl, the $3,300 in buy money from Jones, $545 from Randall, crack cocaine and two handguns, among other items. Both suspects are prohibited from having firearms because of past felony convictions, according to court papers.

Randall is charged with conspiracy and a weapons violation. Jones is charged with drug and weapons offenses. They are being held at the Westmoreland County Prison on $250,000 bail each. Preliminary hearings are set for May 10. Neither suspect had an attorney listed in online court records.
