Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host three drive-up food distributions around the region this week. The first event is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Big Butler Fairgrounds, 1127 New Castle Road. Another distribution will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pittsburgh International Airport, 1000 Airport Blvd. Those attending the Butler Fairgrounds and airport events are asked to arrive no earlier than 10 a.m. The last distribution for the week is from 10 a.m. to noon Friday near PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh. Attendees are asked not to line up earlier than 9 a.m. Each distribution can accommodate 1,000 vehicles. Each vehicle will receive one food share, which is at least 50 pounds of food, according to the food bank. As with all of its drive-up events, the food bank asks that attendees remain in their vehicles at all times. Upon pulling into the distribution, volunteers will load food into the vehicle's trunk or backseat.
