The new semester of Fox Chapel Area Adult Education will offer a flex swim option for adults to swim laps, enjoy weekend recreational swim or attend aqua exercise classes for any combination of days for the nine-week session. Registration for the new semester opened this week for classes that run March through May. “Students asked and we created a flexible days option for all swim programs, recognizing that life is busy, said Executive Director Sue Goodwin. Brochures were mailed to all Fox Chapel Area School District residents with a complete list of offerings. Goodwin said returning favorites include CPR training, yoga and painting. The eight-lane pool at the high school is open for lap swim, lessons, aqua exercise classes and swim stroke clinics. A variety of options are available for those who want to learn new skills, go deeper into pursuits or explore athletics and arts. Some classes include career coaching, cooking, cell phone photography, flower arranging, line dancing and pilates. Many are offered for one night only and others are multi-week classes. Registration is by mail or drop off at the administration offices. To view the brochure, visit fcaae.org. Tawnya Panizzi is a staff writer for the Tribune-Review.
