William 'Bill' Depta, 69, of Scottdale (East Huntingdon Township), passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Bill was born November 23, 1954, in Mount Pleasant, a son of the late Joseph Williams and Julia Marie (Toth) Depta. He married Kitty (Teaters) Depta on September 25, 1976. Bill was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was employed for 41 years as a crane man with IS Steel's Irvin Works and graduate of Southmoreland High School, Class of 1972. Bill enjoyed farming, raising cattle, hunting, and listening to country music. Bill will be sadly missed by his loving family: his wife of 47 years, Kitty (Teaters) Depta; his sons, William Depta Jr. and wife Haley; James Depta and wife Carrie; Steven Depta; and Adam Depta and fianc, Elizabeth; his eight grandchildren, Logan, Julia, and Payton; Ryder and Rylee; and Brook, Trent, and Camdyn.
