Robert Morris men’s basketball will begin its fifth season in the Horizon League with a home game Dec. 4 against Youngstown State at the UPMC Events Center.

Overall, the Colonials will play 20 conference games, meeting each of their 10 opponents once at home and on the road, according to the 2024-25 schedule released by the league Wednesday.

Robert Morris will play three league games before 2025, including at Purdue-Fort Wayne on Dec. 8 and a home game against Northern Kentucky on Dec. 29. The season begins Nov. 4 with a nonconference game at West Virginia.

Defending regular season and tournament champion Oakland, which upset Kentucky in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at PPG Paints Arena last season, visits Robert Morris on Jan. 25.

The Horizon League tournament begins March 4 at campus sites. The championship game is March 11 at Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, Ind.

“We are excited to compete again for a Horizon League championship. We know the challenges the league will present,” Robert Morris coach Andrew Toole said in a statement. “The league has great coaches with great players in great cities fighting every night. In my 15 years as a head coach, the release of the league schedule always creates a sense of excitement and urgency in our program.”
