Former Jeannette High School football and basketball star Terrelle Pryor has sold his home in Penn Township for $412,500, according to filing with the Westmoreland County Recorder of Deeds.
Pryor, 34 sold his home at 6001 Augusta Lane in the Blackthorne Estates plan to Kowshik Morishetty and his wife, Sai Pranthia Charugulla, on March 15, according to documents filed with the Recorder of Deeds office.
Pryor purchased that property in December 2020 for $330,000, which was $79,500 less than the amount for which he sold it, according to the deed. While he owned the house on Augusta Lane, Pryor also owned a house at Meadow Court in the Sandy Hills plan that he purchased in May 2017 for $396,000. He sold that house in August 2022 for $444,000, according to the deed.
Pryor was a star athlete for the Jeannette Jayhawks, leading his football team to the state title in 2007 and the state title in basketball in the 2007-2008 season. He graduated in 2008 as one of the most highly recruited football players in the country and went on to play for Ohio State. Pryor was drafted by the NFL’s Oakland Raiders in 2011 and played quarterback for four teams before switching to wide receiver, where he played for five other teams. Pryor ended his NFL career before the 2o19 season started.
Pryor’s post-football life has been marred by run-ins with authorities. He pleaded guilty in May 2022 in Westmoreland County County to criminal mischief for a domestic incident involving a woman in Murrysville in the fall of 2021.
In Allegheny County court, Pryor pleaded guilty in 2020 to a summary harassment offense in connection with an altercation with a woman during which he was stabbed multiple times in the chest and shoulder on Pittsburgh’s North Side.
Pryor served a 90-day probation sentence in that case. The woman initially was charged with attempted homicide but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and was sentenced to two years of probation. Both Pryor and the woman pleaded guilty in connection with the incident. An Allegheny County judge later lifted a court order barring the couple from having contact at the request of defense lawyers.
