Taylor Swift, Pink, Ed Sheeran among Pittsburgh's biggest concerts in 2023

Taylor Swift broke attendance records with two shows this summer at Acrisure Stadium — and that doesn’t even include the tens of thousands of ticket-less fans who partied along outside the stadium.

Swift’s pair of mega-shows were the highlight of Pittsburgh’s 2023 concert schedule, which also drew stadium shows from Ed Sheeran, Pink, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen and Guns N’ Roses. (Beyonce was also slated to play Acrisure in August but canceled her show.)

Taylor Swift (June 16-17, Acrisure Stadium): The Taylor Swift Eras tour was equal parts concert, spectacle and cultural milestone, as well as a massive economic boon for the city. At more than three hours apiece, Swift visited all aspects of her career, with hits like “Shake It Off,” “We Are Never Getting Back Together” and “Love Story.”

Aerosmith (Sept. 6, PPG Paints Arena): Aerosmith’s Peace Out farewell tour only lasted three shows before singer Steven Tyler fractured his larynx, leading to the postponement of the entire tour. Before that happened, Tyler and the rest of the band roared through their catalog of hits as those who missed out on the show (and the rest of the tour) could only “Dream On.”
