Koala’s owner, Nicki, is a native Pittsburgher who fell in love with an Aussie coffee-lover. After getting married, the two lived locally, grew a family, and moved to Australia. Over a decade ago they moved back to Ingomar. While Nicki’s husband enjoys his Pittsburgh life, he has not been able to find the "perfect flat white" coffee made popular in Australia. Nicki was inspired to open up the Koala Coffee and Tea House and serve the coffee and pastries her husband misses from his Melbourne hometown. And, thanks to the amazing support of the community, Nicki was able to expand and now offers Pittsburgh’s own Millie’s ice cream on the bottom floor and affordable fashion on the top floor, check us out here: https://shopkoalaboutique.com/
