The Craftsmen’s Guild of Pittsburgh was founded in 1944 by a small group of potters and later incorporated in 2001. Since then it has grown to include a diverse and talented array of fine craftspeople. The Guild’s signature event, A Fair in the Park, is one of Pittsburgh’s premier art festivals. It is held annually in September in Mellon Park, Shadyside. The Fair typically features 100 fine artists/craftspeople from both the region and throughout the country.
