About
Eric founded Sewickley Financial in 2014. He has worked in the financial services industry for over 19 years. Over those years Eric developed and practiced the investment discipline that he employs with clients today.
Eric interned at a national brokerage in 1987. He graduated from Iowa State University in 1993 with his Bachelor of Science majoring in Physics & minoring in Economics. During his time at Iowa State, he walked on to the football team & earned an athletic scholarship.
After graduating from Iowa State, Eric worked for 10 years in various technical sales and management roles in the pharmaceutical & fine chemicals industries.
In 2003, he earned his MBA with Honors from The University of Chicago with emphases in Finance & Statistics.
Prior to founding Sewickley Financial, Eric spent over 9 years advising mutual funds & hedge funds on their equity investments. He served as Director Institutional Services where he regularly interacted with institutional asset managers as well as managements of the companies they invest in. His responsibilities included asset analysis, mentoring senior financial analysts, and hiring/training of institutional advisors.
Through his experience advising institutions, individuals and high net worth clients, Eric saw an opportunity to engage clients as partners and advise them from an independent platform. The result is Sewickley Financial LLC.
Eric resides with his family in Sewickley, PA.
