The man killed in the first of two Wednesday afternoon shootings in McKeesport was 47-year-old Robert Joyner, the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
Joyner, who lived in Pittsburgh, was shot in the 3100 block of the city’s Versailles Avenue and died at 1:27 p.m. at an area hospital, the medical examiner said. No cause or manner of death was released Friday.
Allegheny County Police said earlier this week that first responders found the man now identified at Joyner with a gunshot wound to the head, after responding to the scene of the shooting at 12:08 p.m.
The second shooting Wednesday in McKeesport happened near the No. 50 building in the Crawford Village housing complex around 1 p.m. Police said a McKeesport teen attempted to shoot a man who, during a fight there Wednesday afternoon, had pulled a gun on the teen’s father.
The teen survived, but two other men died as a result of the shootout.
Davon Flewellen-Belton, 18, was arrested Wednesday on two weapons charges in connection with the second shooting. He is in the Allegheny County Jail.
The deceased were identified as Jerred Dunkin, 22, of Turtle Creek, and Jordan Eubanks, 30, of McKeesport.
Police said the two shootings are not connected.
