Sharon Ann (Young) Shallenberger, 62, of Delmont, died Saturday, Mar. 16, 2024, in Twin Lakes Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Greensburg. She was born Apr. 7, 1961, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Eugene and Beverly (Neilson) Young. Sharon attended the University of Dayton where she obtained a BS in accounting. She worked as a Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service for 20 years. Sharon enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her puppy, Ellie. She is survived by her husband, Jess E. Shallenberger, Sr.; two sons, Jess E. Shallenberger, II (Wendy), of Saltsburg and Jason D. Shallenberger (Nina), of Elizabeth Twp.; three grandchildren, Jayna, Jesse, and Madison; a brother, Brian Young (Dottie) of Columbia Station, OH; two aunts, and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Apr. 6, 2024, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 1 Grove Pl., Pittsburgh, PA 15236. LEO M.
