A new logo will be popping up in Oakmont.
Texolve, an audio and video systems integration and broadcast engineering firm based in Oakmont, has been acquired by CTI.
CTI is a global custom audio visual systems integration solutions specialist.
Founded in 1997, Texolve was owned and operated by Mike Giantus. According to Patrick Norton, with CTI , Giantus sold Texolve to CTI in early June and retired.
“The rest of Texolve’s employees and the office in Oakmont will remain,” Norton said in an email to TribLive.
He did not respond to a message inquiring about the number of employees working at the location.
Texolve’s name, branding and email addresses will change to CTI, Norton said.
Over the years, Texolve’s clients have included Acrisure Stadium, PPG Paints Arena and PNC Park. According to the CTI website, Texolve personnel previously worked with broadcast systems and event-day operations for the Penguins, Steelers and Pirates.
CTI was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in St. Louis. It is the largest privately held audiovisual integration and live events company in the U.S.
Owned by John Laughlin and his wife, Mary, CTI has 46 offices across the country, a UK office, and it offers integrations and services globally through the PSNI Global Alliance.
