Free community picnic planned Saturday

Fun and Freedom will host a free community Picnic in the Park from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday in Natrona Park and Playground, River Avenue, Harrison.

Lower Burrell to celebrate community day

Lower Burrell will sponsor a free community day celebration from 1 p.m. to dusk Saturday at K-9 Officer Derek Kotecki Memorial Park on Wildlife Lodge Road.

There will be food, vendors, ax throwing, a bake sale, music, line dancing, balloon animals, a bounce house, a 50-50 raffle, and the opportunity to meet with government representatives. Proceeds will benefit the city parks commission.
