Lisa A. (Terrill) Sims, 60, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away July 4, 2022, in Lukeville, Ariz., in an automobile accident. Lisa was born in Natrona Heights to James R. and Jean M. (Ameel) Terrill, May 27, 1962. She attended the Highlands School District and graduated in 1980. She then earned her registered nursing degree from Citizens Hospital School of Nursing in New Kensington. Lisa loved rock and roll, and her favorite group was Lynyrd Skynyrd. Her life's theme song was "Free Bird." She was also a very talented free-hand artist who enjoyed yard sales. Lisa is survived by her children; son, Alex Sims and daughter, Sianna Sims, both of whom reside in Arizona; father, James R. Terrill, of Irvine, Pa.; brothers, David W. (Jean) Terrill, of Tarentum, and Neil P. (Jacquelyn) Terrill, of West Pittsburgh. She is also survived by her grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Lisa was predeceased by her husband, Richard Sims; brother, James L. Terrill; and her mother, Jean M. (Ameel) Terrill. Services in Arizona were private. A memorial Mass in Lisa's name was held Oct. 24, 2022, at Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights, followed by a celebration of life gathering.
