Chester J. Ferraccio, 69, of Washington Township, passed away on Wednesday, Mar. 20, 2024. Born July 27, 1954, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late James E. Ferraccio, Jr. & Leonora 'Lee' (Sypulski) Ferraccio. Chester was a 1972 graduate of Kiski Area High School, and worked as a plumber for Ferraccio Brothers Plumbing and Heating for many years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, Vandergrift. Chester was a lifetime fan of Pitt football and basketball, and coached youth sports in Vandergrift. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially riding them around in his golf cart. Chester is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kim (Mayers) Ferraccio; daughter, Jamie L. (James) Ruff of Mt. Pleasant; son, Adam J. (Natalie) Ferraccio of Washington Township; grandchildren, Avery Ruff, Greyson Ferraccio, and August Ferraccio; sister, Rebecca Ann (Eugene) Kaminski of Isle of Palms, SC; nephews, Jason (Danielle) Kaminski, Brian (Catherine) Kaminski; and a niece, Rachel (Sam) Sanders. At Chester's request, there will be no public viewing. A Christian Burial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Mar. 27, 2024, at 10 a.m. in St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, 303 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift, with Father Alan Polczynski as celebrant. A private inurnment will be held in St. Gertrude Cemetery Mausoleum at the convenience of the family.
