Warren R. Schimizzi Sr., 91, of Washington Township (Apollo), passed away peacefully at his home on March 10, 2024. He was born June 5, 1932, in Apollo, a son of the late Frank and Frances (Malaspina) Schimizzi. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara, and his brothers,Tony, Joe, John, Frank, Spike, Dominic, and Chuck. Warren will be missed by his daughters, Mikey Clark of Avonmore, Nancy Schimizzi of Virginia, Mary (Bill) Thall of Jamestown, Barbara "B.J."(T.J.)Bellotti of Avonmore; son, Warren R. (Paula) Schimizzi Jr of Saltsburg. A brother, Richard (Sam) Schimizzi of Greensburg, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He loved being on his tractor, fishing at Pymatuning Lake with his best friend Oren Keibler, hunting on his farm as well as hunting trips out west. Warren truly enjoyed playing poker with his brothers and nephews every other week. After his retirement from Hillview Motors, Warren enjoyed country line dancing with his late wife Barbara as well as woodworking and spending time with family. Family and friends will be received from 11-12 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, and a blessing service at 12 p.m. at the Vaia Funeral Home Inc., 463 Athena Drive, Delmont, (724) 468-1177.
