With the wise choices we made with the federal funds we received during Covid, we are fortunately on sound financial footing. I am extremely proud that we have a fund balance of $13 million and our S & P Bond Rating is A+. To continue on this path, we need to increase and maintain homeownership because it leads to safety and stability in a community, combats blight and results in generational wealth. As the Mayor of Penn Hills, it is my goal in 2025 to disseminate information on homeownership - how to become a first-time homeowner and how to maintain ownership. There are many programs available both public and private. Anybody could be one medical bill or funeral bill away from losing their home.
